Roseville

Welcome to Roseville. I'm starting this blog as a journal of sorts - mostly for myself and my husband of 27 years - to chronicle our lives in our new home. Perhaps it may someday interest others who enjoy the things we enjoy - nature, music, gardens, literature, movies, cooking, sewing and homesteading on a very small scale. 

Our children left the nest almost a year ago and since that time Mike and I have been working to rediscover ourselves. He is busy with his ever expanding musical career (and the equipment to go with it) and I am rediscovering my love of books, gardening, quilting and just making in general. We started looking at houses with land as a pipe dream but soon got serious. Although we ended up with less land than we initially wanted (my dream of goats will have to remain a dream), we were fortunate to find a home situated in the midst of a creek and acres of farmland and meadow but yet just outside of the city limits. We are just three miles from our children, work and church. We couldn't be happier. 

So, here in Roseville, you will find our journey. We hope you come along for the ride!
